VideoSAFE
VideoSAFE is the ideal solution for a host of civil and military surveillance applications including traffic enforcing, border control, and town centre monitoring and sporting events. One such organisation based in central London, a major traffic enforcement authority, has been completely revolutionised by the implementation of VideoSAFE; and were presented with the UK Parking Enforcement Award 2005.
Multiple Vision Base products, such as VideoBOX, are directly compatible with the video data base, allowing video files to be enhanced, edited and storyboarded. Image sequences can also be printed and authored to DVD for presentation purposes.
Usability
Police forces and other law enforcement agencies can be connected to one another using a secure and private network, allowing greater cooperation and faster distribution of video evidence. Towns, regions and countries can now collaborate with one another and share vital video evidence.
Mobile Surveillance
VideoSAFE is designed to work with mobile capture systems, such as vehicle based systems or light weight portable briefcase based systems consisting of a laptop & camera, and so is suitable for observation of individuals or covert CCTV recording.

VideoSAFE is made up of 4 distinctive modules which are responsible for specific tasks.
VideoSAFE Capture
Records incoming CCTV (single or multiple analog or digital streams) and digitalises to high quality DVD video, safely transferring the recording to the data base.
VideoSAFE Review
Searches the data base for required video files using dates, keywords or other customisable references such as locations or VRM. Allows users to edit video and manages urgent or old redundant files.
VideoSAFE Server
Controls the network and traffic of video files. Holds all video entries in a secure database and allows administrators to modify networking settings.
VideoSAFE Storage
Securely holds all captured and reviewed video files in high capacity, high speed storage devices for instant viewing. The video data base gives users the ability to instantly search multiple video archives situated over a local area, wide area or even a global network. Operators can replay relevant video files at their own workstation, removing the need to travel to view video evidence regardless of its original source.
