Haven't updated recently? Here's how...
Updating your ViewSTATION is fairly straightforward, you will need the following:
1. Current fully working configuration.
2. New licence file if specified for the version you are upgrading to.
3. Administrator access password for ViewSTATION and the PC system.
4. Familiarity with adding and removing programs using the Windows add/remove function.
5. Latest ViewSTATION software.
6. Latest Service Pack.
You can now obtain all the latest software from our website, our FTP server if you have an FTP account with us or you can request an update disc. Use the links in our support section to contact us for further assistance or advice.

IMPORTANT:
You can now use our secure FTP site to UPLOAD any DVR files you are seeing frequently or having problems with.
If we find a solution we will add this to the system SERVICE PACK using a self updating program or "PATCH" these patches will also appear as a historical list on our website and FTP which can be downloaded as required. Service Pack patches will typically include new format support for several additional formats and since the SERVICE PACK is shared by DCR and ViewSTATION any updates will benefit both programs and all users.

Latest Capabilities with ViewSTATION

ViewSTATION is now able to support virtually any media type and almost any digital file or DVR format with playback offered in a choice of players in Windows, Native players or ViewSTATION. Users will notice more formats supported in our single interface making the system even easier to use. ViewSTATION can also "break-out" from its Single interface to show players where the player and data is embedded in a single executable file. The software offers the user a step by step choice offering all available options for playback.

Under development is an improved print manager and template wizard to allow you to print images with a layout configured by the system administrator. Also under development is a master / working copy creation with a hash number to indicate authentic original data.
